When the Light Returns
May 16, 2027 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm CDT
Chicago Chorale’s 25th Anniversary Season concludes with Guest Conductor Amanda Huntleigh in a concert tracing the arc of human grief and renewal. Works by Saint-Saëns, Croft, and Distler descend from hushed evening prayer into dark despair, while Reena Esmail and György Ligeti shift the atmosphere from night to dawn. Music by Willametta Spencer and Shawn Kirchner carry the program into radiant, roof-raising joy. Sunday, May 16th at 3 pm at Hyde Park Union Church. Tickets available here!
