Black Creativity Family Day – Museum of Science & Industry
Join us for a day of activities celebrating the power of creativity and innovation!
MSI will celebrate Family Day on Monday, January 16, 2023, with a series of events inside the Museum. Families can participate in Hear We Art™, a community activity led by artist Rachel Gadson, from ILA Creative Studio. Guests can also explore the Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition.
Family Day Collective Art Piece
During this year’s Family Day, guests can participate in an interactive and educational art experience fusing visuals and sound for an immersive community experience. Guests will increase audible skills while finding time to decompress and destress as they create artwork inspired by the music they hear to add to one overall community art piece. While guests create their artwork, representatives from ILA Creative Studio will discuss their work in the community.
