Book Talk: A Black Music Month Event

In honor of Black Music Month, join the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center for a special conversation with acclaimed radio personality, music historian, and contributor to TV One’s UnsungMarcus Chapman.

Mr. Chapman will discuss the 10th Anniversary Editions of The Coolest Music Book Ever Made, also known as the MC 500, Volumes 1 & 2, exploring the artists, songs, and cultural moments that have shaped the soundtrack of Black America.

The discussion will be moderated by special guest Mike Love, radio personality from V103, and will offer music lovers, historians, and cultural enthusiasts an engaging look at the legacy and impact of Black music.
