Our next Canto-Kójo open mic session is Tuesday, February 24 at 7 PM, hosted by our amazing friends I.S. Jones and Yazud Brito-Milan!
In Yorùbá, the word “kójo” means “to gather”. In Spanish, “canto” means “to sing.” In our efforts to gather community together, we hope to make something new sing.
Revel in the spoken and written word with us—bring a poem, a song, a short story, anything that’s on your heart! All are welcome and encouraged regardless of experience levels! Featured reader to be announced shortly!
