Hyde Park is Hiring Event

The University of Chicago’s Commercial Real Estate Operations (CREO) and Office of Civic Engagement (OCE) teams are hosting the “Hyde Park is Hiring” event on Tuesday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Harper Court. The event is organized in association with Downtown Hyde Park, the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, the South East Chicago Commission (SECC), and the offices of 4th ward Alderman Sophia King and 5th ward Alderman Leslie Hairston.
Hiring representatives from 15+ local businesses will be staffing tables to personally meet job applicants. Participating stores, restaurants, and hotels at the event include 14 Parish, Busted Bra Shop, Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea, Ja’ Grill, Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria & Brewery, Kilwins, Nella Pizza e Pasta, Philz Coffee, Stan’s Donuts & Coffee, Trader Joe’s, The Revival, She Fit, Sophy Hotel, The Study Hotel, sweetgreen, Virtue Restaurant, Wesley’s Shoes, and more.
Validation will be provided at the event for two hours of free parking* at the Harper Court parking garage (entrance on S. Lake Park Avenue just south of McDonald’s). Street parking is also available or public transportation (bus or Metra Electric to 53rd Street Station). *Fee charged for more than two hours of parking
