Intro to Chainmail

Experience the art of Chainmail by crafting your own bracelet. Chainmail jewelry involves weaving metal rings—called jump rings—into intricate patterns, known as “weaves,” to create beautiful decorative items. Once used in ancient armor, modern chainmail transforms various metals into elegant and flexible designs for bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.

All materials are provided, and students will take home two sets of pliers to continue practicing. Additional rings will be available for purchase.

When: Sunday, May 3, 1 -4 pm

Pre-requisites:  Ages 17+.

Included in class:  Pliers, rings, and lobster claw clasps.
