Learn Basic Sewing & Mending

Save time and money by learning the basics of mending your own clothes. We will learn how to sew on buttons, when to use running stitch, hem stitch, and invisible stitch to mend your clothes. We will also learn how to sew on a patch. Students will leave with a small fabric sampler of mending techniques as well as needle and thread to use in their own mending projects.
Level: Beginner. No prior experience needed.
Pre-requisites: Ages 12+.
Included in class: A kit that consists of two needles, sewing thread, strands of 3 different colors of embroidery floss, several buttons, and fabric for the sampler and the patch.
