Learn to Knit Intarsia
Learn to knit intarsia with a simple and festive Christmas ornament project. Students will learn the intarsia colorwork technique in two colors, reading from a chart, managing yarn while working, and weaving in ends, as well as review the mattress stitch for seaming.
Level: Intermediate
Pre-requisites: Students should feel confident knitting, purling, casting on, and binding off.
Included in class:
Two skeins of The Fibre Co. Lore Mini (25g), poly-fil, and the pattern. Students can select from two colorways: A) Serene, Ambitious, & Sensitive, or B) Heaven, Happiness, & Wise.
Needles and notions required:
- 4mm (US 6) circular needle or single-pointed needles
- Darning needle
