Learn to Knit Series
Jump into the world of knitting with this 4-part class. You’ll first make a simple coaster while learning the foundational skills: casting on, knitting, and binding off. As you build confidence, you’ll learn the purl stitch and how to fix mistakes, such as dropped stitches. Then you’ll get to try ribbing and the mattress stitch as you knit a cup cozy, finishing with a fun project featuring cable designs to showcase your new skills.
Level: Beginner. No prior experience needed.
Pre-requisites: None. Ages 15+.
Included in class: One ball of Lion Brand Fishermen’s Wool (color to be chosen at time of class), a size US 9 knitting needle, a cable needle, a darning needle, and a tote.
