Learn Visible Mending

Visible mending adds beauty and interest to your clothes by making repair stitches visible and decorative. In this class, you will learn a few basic visible mending techniques for knit and woven fabrics. We will learn reverse applique, darning, sashiko patching, and simple embroidery repairs.
Level: Beginner.
Pre-requisites: Participants must have some hand-sewing experience, the ability to thread a needle, and tie a knot in the thread. Ages 12+.
Included in class: A simple starter kit of two needles, embroidery floss, sashiko thread, knit fabric, and woven fabric.
