Vibraphonist, marimbist, and composer Patricia Brennan has emerged as one of the leading creative voices redefining the role of the vibraphone and mallet percussion in contemporary music. In this solo program, Brennan presents a collection of original works and improvisations that illuminate the full breadth of the vibraphone’s expressive potential. Her approach integrates precise mallet technique with bowed tones, and prepared textures, revealing the vibraphone and marimba as remarkably versatile mediums capable of both delicate nuance and expansive resonance.
