South Side Fireflies is back on May 3rd!

You know the joy—those Saturday mornings filled with music, laughter, and little feet on the move. We’re so excited to welcome you and your little one back for another session of South Side Fireflies, running May 3 through July 5 from 11 am-12 pm at the Arts Incubator.

In partnership with Music Moves Chicago (Old Town School of Folk Music’s youth initiative), this free early childhood music series brings toddlers and preschoolers into rhythm, movement, and play—all inspired by the timeless sounds of Earth, Wind & Fire. 🎶✨

Led by familiar favorites Shanta Nurullah, Zahra Baker, Angel Bat Dawid, and Julian Otis, Fireflies continues to be a space where our youngest neighbors—and their loving grownups—can explore music, joy, and community together.

It’s been such a gift to share music and dance with our tiniest neighbors and the loving grownups who bring them. See you soon!

*This program is most suitable for children ages 1-5, but all age groups are encouraged to participate.
