Students will receive a demonstration of knitwear mending techniques such as woven darning\, Swiss darning/duplicate stitch\, Scotch darning\, and mattress stitch. A general overview of basic embroidery on knitwear will also be provided. Mending materials included. \nLevel:  Beginner. All skill levels \nPre-requisites: None\, but basic knitting and embroidery skills will come in handy. Ages 15+. \nIncluded in class: A simple starter kit – 1 Clover darning yarn card\, scrap yarn\, printed technique instructions\, and a tapestry needle. \nWhat to bring: Bring one or two knit items that need repairs.
