People are passionate about the Seminary Co-op, making special trips to browse its extensive collection of academic titles – widely regarded as one of the finest in the world – reflecting the academic strengths of the University of Chicago. You’ll find more intellectually-minded books than you can carry in a lovely, light-filled location with plenty of seating. Independent and cooperatively-owned for over 50 years, members have included Barack and Michelle Obama, Susan Sontag, Saul Bellow, and more.
