For those who take their pizza seriously, Nella Pizza e Pasta offers award-winning authentic Neapolitan pizza, cooked in a traditional volcanic-stone domed oven hand-made by fifth generation artisans. Owners Frank and Nella Grassano even have their flour, San Marzano plum tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella flown in weekly from Naples to ensure the pizza’s inimitable taste. Nella is a pizzaiola (master pizza maker), who started cooking as a young child learning her great-grandmother’s recipes, and in addition to the homemade pasta, calzones, and risotto, the restaurant offers a weekend brunch, and full bar with Italian craft beers and house-made limoncello.
