“Days after the New York Times named Sanders BBQ Supply in Beverly one of America’s 50 best restaurants, chef-owner James Sanders tells Crain’s he’s gearing up to open another Chicago restaurant — this time with an elevated twist.⁠

The new Sanders BBQ Prime will fill space underneath The Promontory, a bi-level music venue in Hyde Park. Sanders says the restaurant should open in about six months and will be much bigger than the existing business. He describes it as becoming his ‘signature restaurant.'”⁠
