Hyde Bark is a small, local family-owned pet care business established in 2015 based in the Hyde Park neighborhood. We service exclusively Hyde Park, Bronzeville, and Woodlawn. We strive to hire from our community and almost all of our pet care providers also live on the south side of Chicago. We also try to highlight and support other local small businesses whenever we can. Our service area is Pershing Road to 65th and Indiana Avenue to South Shore Drive.

We are a professional business – licensed, fully insured, and bonded. Our pet care providers are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and most are also certified in Animal Psychology and/or Pet Behavior & Training. They are actual employees of Hyde Bark, not just independent contractors, and most of them have been with us for years! We wholly believe the quality of our service is dependent on the quality of our employees. We strive to make sure we have the absolute best team, and they are well cared for.

With our easy-to-use app for booking, billing, and reports, you can make your own schedule week-to-week, make payments, communicate directly with your pet care provider, and receive real-time visit reports including visit summary, pictures, and a GPS map. We will never cancel on you last minute and we guarantee we will always, without fail, be there for your scheduled service.
